West Side

Saturday Wylie and I decided to have another skate adventure back on the West Side of NYC. The day was amazing and the 1st having sun after weeks of rain. I had just gotten in form Canada early that morning so I was a bit beat but happy to be out with my boy. The outside images below are in the harbor near battery park. We had a great time just hanging around. It was HOT however and we were glad to finally find refuge in a old West Village restaurant where we hid from the sun and watched some cartoons on the tube. A good Saturday over all.

Father's Day

Had a good day with Wylie on Father's day. We toured the east village...had some fun at the park and had two lunches! The 1st was st Strombolie's Pizza and the second was at Bennie's Burritos. We had a great time.
1st Pic is Wylie with one of his new creations. The 2nd is Wylie on St Marks and the last photo is actually on Saturday with his friend Luca and the "Ferdinand the Bull caddy". Very cool.

C10

A super cool old c-10 on the streets of NYC. Beautiful restoration job and the short bed though not my favorite, as I prefer the long bed version,..still cool none the less. Fleetsides rule!

Rhinebeck Moto Show

Wylie and I went to the Rhinebeck Vintage Motorcycle Show this past weekend and just had a blast. The bikes were great and the crowd was colorful to say the least. Below are some pics and you defiantly need to click the link below to see even more images form the event as the images best describe the day. It was beautiful and the " Wall Of
Death" was Wylie's favorite! It was much more scary for us then the people performing and the images just don't do it justice. Just imagine a 1100 cc motorcycle racing past you over and over just inches away...even close enough the tip the rider a dollar! Super Fun! LINK TO IMAGES OF THE SHOW

Where's Batman?

Ran across this car yesterday and just could not deny that hood scoop...? The owner was on the right track with a car that needs help anyway and I can see he is trying to honor the Hemi motor it so clearly possesses but I think the scoop is a bit much. This is also an injected car not carburated and I am not so sure the scoop is functionally helping the car but hey fun none the less and we all love customs so again I ask...where's Batman and what is he doing on Duane St?

NYC DAYS

Our fun weekend it New York. Wylie and I had a few good adventures this weekend and we wanted to share them. On Saturday we went to the famous Ziegfeld theater uptown to see the new movie UP and it was in 3-D! A great film and the theater just enhanced the experience. Glad we went. The fountain images are at the theater.
On Sunday we spent a good long time at Madison Square Park but we also went to the Blessing of the Motorcycles on Madison Ave. Not a big turn out but we went any way. Later that day we decided to go for a boat ride so we took the Staten Island Ferry across the mighty Hudson and Back. This was super fun and it was great to get on the water. Wylie loved it!
